To help me achieve a balanced life I wanted to create a personal growth map – this recognises the seven life areas (in my version five: social, professional/intellectual, psychological/spiritual,  physical, recreational) that make up our lives.

In the similar way that I would do a mind map, I listed all the activities I could do for each life area. These were activities I could do throughout  a month. Some activities were minor, but doing them made me feel that I was (am) making progress, finding a sense of accomplishment and gaining control of my life. The result was (is) I’m feeling good about it.
